Employee Of The Month – December 2019

We were delighted to award December Employee of the Month to Marzena Olesiak.  Marzena has been with IMS since 2017 and works at three of our Clients sites.

Shabbir, Operations Manager commented, ‘Marzena is an extremely hard worker and one of the Clients at a site she works brought it to my attention at recent Management Meetings of her capability and reliability in her daily role.  She does not have to be asked twice to do something, and her attention to detail is second to none.  Thank you Marzena for your hard work!’

Marzena was awarded with an Employee of The Month Certificate along with some Amazon shopping vouchers.

Appreciation of our Cleaning Operatives at IMS is important and it motivates our staff whilst recognising them for their hard work.  We are extremely proud of our fantastic team, and what better way than to write about them on our website on a Monthly basis.

Work Life Balance Goals for 2020

We are already into 2020, and most of us will have implemented our New Year’s Resolutions.  As part of your resolutions, pursuing a healthy work – life balance should be a goal to work to.  Some of us vow to eat better, exercise more, quit smoking etc, which are all great goals.

At IMS, we recognize the importance of having a good work-life balance.  It goes without saying, that our staff are extremely committed and hard-working during their hours at work, but we all share in the fact that we require a satisfying amount of time for outside work activities.

Maintaining a good balance improves overall happiness and well-being, which in turn contributes to a healthy work environment.

Some tips to create a good work-life balance:

  • Prioritize work tasks.
  • Take regular breaks during the working day.
  • Leverage technology to work smarter.
  • Leave work at work.
  • Exercise, eat healthy, meditate.
  • Spend time with family and friends.
  • Get the recommended amount of sleep.
  • Take that holiday!

Work is an important part of everyone’s life, but it is still just one part!
